HM Capital's investment approach is designed to yield attractive investment returns with a conservative risk profile. Prior to making an acquisition, HM Capital undertakes rigorous due diligence and develops an operating strategy for the company. It also assesses whether existing management is appropriate. If not, HM Capital will access its extensive management network to find appropriate management.
As part of the operating strategy, the Firm works closely with company management to identify and execute value-added projects that can be implemented within the Fund's relevant investment time horizon. The Firm looks to harvest an investment in a portfolio company once the majority of the valueenhancement strategy is complete. An exit may be appropriate if: (i) the Change Capital operating strategy has been completed, (ii) the objectives outlined in the operating strategy are no longer relevant, or (iii) the markets are willing to pay a premium multiple for the company.
